THE EAGLE GRILL IN LONGMONT PRESENTS THE RETURN OF BURNS TWICE!! FRIDAY AND SATURDAY DECEMBER 10TH AND 11TH, 8 PM. We love playing the Eagle! This will be our last gig for 2010 and we can't wait to play a weekend at the Eagle! The Eagle has been the Northern Colorado's undisputed home for Classic Rock for over a decade, and we were so glad to add this club to our calender!

The lovely Laura even made a rare "Low Country" appearance and stayed to the end!! Denver, Colorado — Oct. 2 marks the Fourth Annual LIVESTRONG Day Cancer Survivor Celebration and Glow Stick Vigil on the Colorado Capitol Steps.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the rock band Burns Twice. Next, guest speaker Sean Swarner from The Cancer Climber Association, two-time cancer survivor and the first survivor to climb Mt. Everest, will share his inspirational story. Sean was diagnosed with two different and unrelated forms of cancer, once when he was 13 and again at the age of 16. Sean has since survived and gone on to climb the highest peaks, known as the Seven Summits, of Africa, Europe, South America, Australia, Antarctica and North America. Hopper's presents the return of Burns Twice!! Friday Feb. 3, at 8pm, we hop on I-70 and head out for a Friday Night of Fun !! If you haven't been to Hopper's, you are missing out on the best drink prices in Denver, and a great rock room. Come out and see for your own bad-self!!

What a fun weekend at the Eagle!! This great club is fast becoming Burns Twice's favorite watering hole!! We added Mike to Team Twice on sound and he did a fantastic job!! We hope to work with him again real soon!! Rob's daughter Jess , and the whole Twice Family, Denny, Mary, Sheila,Sue,Laura ,Elise, Deb,the Professor,Mary Ann, [and the rest!!] all made the scene!! What a wild,wild weekend in Longmont at the Eagle! We saw things we've never seen before!![and after 40 years of rock and roll, that's saying something!!]. Thanks go out to the Eagle Staff, they treat us so well and are so nice!!Great to see our friends from "The Colorado Crush Tailgators", Long time no see!!We will post it here when we get a return date. To sum it up...Longmont Rocks!!
High Country Harpists, Craig B. will be joining Burns Twice and jamming on some blues!! Craig sat in with us at the Merc a few weeks ago, and tore it up, should be fun!!
GREAT TO SEE OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS! It's always fun to play the Merc, Burns Twice has been playing the Front Range for over a decade,out of all the clubs we've played, 2 are still rocking....Dillinger's in Lafayette, and The Venerable Mighty,Mighty Merc! [I'm pretty sure some of the Merc Patrons are still there from the first gig we played] Rainbo and her posse put on a great dinner,and those Jimbillies danced their asses off!

IT'S BEEN A GREAT YEAR FOR BURNS TWICE!! We played the steps of the Captial building for Lance Armstrong's Live Strong Foundation, Mile High Hog's 10th Anniversary Party, put our video on Youtube [got 2,500 views], had a 30 year reunion with Roby and my 80's touring band Alias,played more shows than we have in years, played some new rooms, [The Eagle Grill, Columbine Lounge, Chatfeild's], and we got to play Jamestown for the 4th of July!!

After driving home myself, on those skating rinks they call Overland Rd., I am even more impressed!!......
